I. Introduction by co-mentor She Shuo
She Shuo is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Public Administration of Huazhong University of Science and Technology. He is an expert in handling terrorist attacks in Hubei Province, an expert in Hubei Food Security Assessment Team, Deputy Secretary-General of Hubei Society of Public Administration, a researcher of the ASEAN Research Center of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and a senior researcher of the Modern Leadership Science and Art Research Center of Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
His current research interests include public security and emergency management, anti-terrorism theory and practice, and governance modernization. In Managing the World, Urban Problems, Soft Science, International Journal of Communication, International Journal of Technology Management, Quality & Quantity, Current Issues in Tourism and other professional journals published nearly 40 papers; He has presided over the general Project of China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, the Special Grant Project, the Youth Project of National Social Science Foundation, the General Project of National Social Science Foundation, the Key Soft Science Project of Hubei Province, and the Social Science Fund of Hubei Province, etc. As a core member, participated in three major and key national self-science and social science projects; Published two academic monographs; He won the third prize of Hubei Province Development Research, the third prize of the Sixth Hubei University Young Teachers Teaching Competition, and the honorary titles of Huazhong University of Science and Technology "Top Ten Young Teachers".
Ii. Basic Requirements
1. Professional background in one or more of the following disciplines: interdisciplinary background and operational experience in emergency management, data mining, non-traditional security, international relations, risk warning, artificial intelligence, etc.
2. Ability to undertake projects and scientific research independently and good English writing ability, have published at least 2 high-level papers in academic journals in the field as the first author or corresponding author during the doctoral period or within the last three years, and have undertaken or participated in major projects is preferred;
3. The applicant shall be under 35 years old and have obtained his/her doctor's degree for less than 3 years. He/she shall have rigorous research attitude and good team spirit, strong sense of responsibility and positive attitude, and be able to independently or effectively cooperate with leaders to complete the work.
Three, post treatment
1. The term of appointment of post-doctoral students is 2 to 3 years, and the annual salary is 200,000 yuan (key grants) or 270,000 yuan (special grants). The details are negotiable.
2. During the employment period, refer to the regular staff of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and enjoy the same position teachers' children's enrollment, care, medical insurance and many welfare benefits. The University will provide postdoctoral students with rental apartments, and those who fail to live in them will be provided with monthly rental subsidies.
3. The research group is responsible for guaranteeing sufficient funds and improving experimental conditions necessary for research work, creating a good platform for personal development, and assisting postdoctoral researchers to apply for scientific research projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation. At the end of the contract, you can choose to renew the contract, or support the competition for the position of teacher in our school or other colleges;
4. Candidates with excellent performance during the postdoctoral appointment period can compete for the teaching position. The contract for the first employment term is three years. Those who compete for the position of teacher after the term expires can be regarded as having passed the assessment for the first employment term of new teachers.
