What is success?
Success is the progressive realization of a worthy goal or ideal —Earl Nightingale
Young generation must know that purposeless life is useless; self-identification, goal orientation, and ambitious passions would ultimately serve a purposeful life.
How do you see your life and what you suggest youngsters?
As a young scientist, grown in a middle-class family, and low/middle economy country, I believe that setting high goals in life can be life-changing and definitely could bring big gigs for oneself and people closely attached with. This is my personal experience and erudition from the society of successful people.
How you became a scientist?
I was aspirational since high school with ambitions of being scientist in the future, with this motive, I continued struggles for obtaining admission in doctoral studies in China. Although, several predicaments and hurdles were faced during the journey of achieving my goals, but with support of a lovely family, and sincere friends, my high-end intentions remarkably eventuated.
Currently, I am speaking, teaching, and sharing knowledge as an expert in Earth Sciences and Environment on several international platforms due to the fact that “I set my goals at my embryonic stage of education”. Despite of huge difficulties, I have had enough space to digest unseen hurdles and also beautiful stages in both educational and professional career. The purpose of sharing this brief story meant to realize my friends, students, young professionals and experts to get motivations that “it’s not late”, set new goals, continue struggling, reach the goals, and achieve the high-end targets and beyond, so that you serve for the society and for the betterment of humanity”.
How do you see your life in China?
I have enjoyed my life in China as a student between 2014-2018 and as a professional since 2019 to present. It’s a land of opportunities for everyone. Through my over 8 years of stay here, I came to know that China is an interesting lab of digital world where you can serve in any capacity as long as you are hard-working and dedicated. In fact, Chinese Government has proved its competency on provision of handsome financial support for students from any country, any race, any religion or sect across the globe. The youngsters are advised to build their career with honesty, work hard, make full use of research facilities, learn Chinese, and prove sincerity towards playing positive role in further developing China and Pakistan relationship.
Tell us about your hobbies.
Writing is one of my favorite hobbies, during high school, I began to write some motivational and worth studying articles consecutively for years that were published in national newspapers (both English and Urdu versions). My articles were highly acknowledged by the readers as well as editors and received top youngest writer award in 2003 by Pakistan's official newspaper agency.
Do you still write?
Now, I mostly write scientific articles in my research field having world-wide readers and followers (in scientific language we call it ‘citation’), this also serves as an ultimate product of my childhood hobbies as stated earlier. Besides, I am a nature-lover and wonder around in the open air to explore how beautiful is the world, how different landscapes are poured on the earth I thinks it’s a healthy hobby and pleasing as well. Also, guiding people (regardless of fields and interests), helping others, and motivating youngsters are among my best hobbies. I feel overwhelmed when people get their destinations successfully.
